Glow

There’s nothing like sitting around a campfire chatting with family and/or friends and watching the wood burn.  I love the glow of the coals and the colors of the flames as they leap up into the air.

These four pictures were of a cleansing fire.  We had stored some cabinets in a shed up at our property and they’d become infested with mouse droppings.  They were old, and we decided it was better to just burn them rather than try to get them clean enough to use.

Here we see the glow of a campfire on the trees.

And finally, even though this has nothing to do with campfires, I took it one night on my way home from camping.

Yes! You had me at mouse droppings, burn baby burn! You do know how to make a great fire, all you need now are the marshmallows! Then the fire experience will be complete! Great fire away glow for sure here Max!

The glow of that fire is inviting even if fuelled by mouse droppings.

Those flame shots are amazing, Max. I'm just going to mentally filter the 'mouse droppings' bit, and look at the beauty.

The real beauty is that the fire took care of the mouse droppings so we didn't have to. :)
