Thematic Photographic: Aerial

Haven’t posted here for a while, so figured I’d use this blog for my Thematic Photographic entries.  Please, check out all the other entries, and enter yourself if so inclined, by clicking on the banner at the bottom.

I too these aerial photographs of the Colorado River and surrounding areas from Dead Horse Point.

Oh, very clever of you. I had to skip this theme because I couldn't think of anything to use.

Yeah, it took me a week to come with these ones. I don't travel by plane too often.

Very nice. Love, love, LOVE the last one, very surreal, the patterns, colors and textures. It reminds me of those 3D pictures that you have to look "through" to see.

Good job you don't suffer from vertigo!

Mustang - thanks, that's one of my favorites too.

Bob - Yeah, and the only thing between you and one of those straight 1000 ft drops is a 3' rock wall.

These are heartstopping - and they remind me of how boring the landscape in my neck of the woods is. I need to try harder to find the pretty.

Wonderful take on this week's theme...I'm so glad you decided to slice it this way.

(My must-visit list keeps getting longer because of you :) )

Carmi - well, let me know when you do get to Utah, I'd be happy to show you around.
