Remodel red.

The Chevron I work at a couple days a week has just recently had a major makeover.  New paint, new signage.  And a change from bland greys to… da, ta, da, da,… RED.

The new signs that are throughout the store.

Think you might miss where the restrooms are with this sign?

The cashier area, done in red.

Right above the entry door.

And no post about red is complete with these University of Utah flags that we sell.  (P.S. – we don’t even sell blue flags with a “Y” on them.)

Glad to know you don't sell zoobie flags. :)

Less than 3 miles from the U of U, that wouldn't be good business.

Most grocery stores nearby sell both kinds, though, so I'm glad you don't.

Great signage - very cheerful and eye-catching!

Love the shot of the lights above the entry door.

Sheesh, all those signs-bet it catches a customer off guard... I did hear that the reason they use the color red in restaurants, etc., is that it psychologically makes the person not stay long, especially in eateries...less dawdling...

Every gas station in our immediate area has suddenly closed down for renovations. They're all being redone in bright red, too, but they pale next to yours.

I think you live in a prettier part of the world. Or you just shoot it with way more grace than I ever could. Either way, I dig your world view.

I don't know, Carmi, I've seen some of your pictures. There's a lot of beauty up there, or at least you are able to find it.
